This is a great buy. You can do anything, regardless of the time of day (or night), without sacrificing one hand to hold a flashlight. This is plenty bright, so I use it on the dimmer setting. It also has a strobe light setting you have to click through to turn it off. The button in front cycles with each click from ON High - low - strobe - off. While on, the red light in the back is always illuminated. It is adjustable on both sides and across the top of the head from front to back. It comes with a wall charger to charge the special battery inside, or I suppose you can buy another battery instead... not sure where to get one. The light also "click" rotates up and down so you can aim it where it's most useful. The only thing that happens occasionally is that the straps slip out of the loop occasionally (not while in use, but when removing it or storing it). The strap feeds into the middle of the oblong loop and then settles over the slit. Easy to put the strap back in if that happens. So still, 5 stars. I wrote this while looking to buy another one. I haven't tested any others, so I don't know how it compares, but I really like this one. Super comfortable too.I purchased 2 of these. The first one was great, I use it while I am grooming my poodles, but never could remember to plug in back in to recharge so I purchased the second one to always have one ready to go. The second one didn't want to charge up after the second time I recharged it. Contacted the company and they responded fast. Set out another one very quickly, and it works great ! So glad the company was quick to respond and solve my problem. That's hard to find a company to do that anymore. Thank you for your help!!I was about to return them until I removed the batteries to check their chjarge when I eventually found a clear thin plastics coating shrunk on them to or prevent discharge before initial use. Then, the light worked beautifully.I had a difficult time finding these lights as the same units I acquired 3 years ago (and am still happy with) but they do not have labels on them to i.d. them with. The only negative is keeping the straps in there hooks.Two brightness levels and one flashing setting. The back had a red light. The cover for the batteries was rubber and seemed like it would easily come off when not wearing the headlamp. It didn't though but would like it to have a better connection to prevent losing the batteries. I didn't need to recharge it although it didn't get many hours of use. The strap came off the side a couple times and it was a struggle to get it back on in the dark, turned the light on but it couldn't point to the side where the strap was connected. It's a bit bulky so if you don't need a lot of light get a more slim one.I really love this product. I use it daily to go out and feed my animals after dark. Great battery life and very durable.This headlamp definitely packs a whollop. It is very bright. This is perfect for messing with things in the crawlspace where i don't really have a great deal of wired in lighting. The headlamp seems very solid so far. It uses lithium ion batteries. It says right in the directions to charge it every few months at the least. Aside from that, and a poor rubber casing around the lithium batteries it's just fine. The rubber casing isn't dangerous or anything, i just thought they could make it a bit more durable. All around, I am satisfiedReceived the headlamp today. Good brightness after a quick 30 min charge. Headband sits comfortably. Happy with the product.Delivery by Ninja Van is abysmal. Failed to deliver the day before. I contacted them and reminded them to deliver during office hours to my office address. Email reply said they will deliver between 9 am to noon. So far so good. The delivery guy then calls and said he will only reach after 2pm. Still okay. Parcel received at 3pm but the recepient was signed by the delivery driver at 11am! How can it be acceptable for the delivery driver to sign as the recepient for the parcel? Outrageous. Completely hopeless delivery service.
