DIMMABLE EFFICIENT LED LIGHT SOURCE VERSATILE USE AND HANDS FREE MAGNIFICATION: The touch-sensing power button also functions as the dimmer, so you can get the perfect lighting for any craft or task. Tap once to turn on at full brightness. A second tap dims it to 50%, and a third tap brings it down to 30%. Tap a fourth time to turn it off. The sturdy gooseneck holds the head in place once you position it to where you need it, so you can work with ease, and the weighted base will prevent it from ever tipping over. 20 YEAR LIFE AND ENERGY EFFICIENT: This lamp comes with a built-in 9 Watt power saving LED light fixture with a 6000k color temperature, to provide crisp clean lighting while you work. With 800 lumens, it's equal to a 60 Watt incandescent bulb but uses much less power. You can leave your lamp on for hours at a time, day after day, and still barely feel a dent in your electric bill. To top it off, LED's have a 15-20 year lifespan, so you'll really be able to enjoy the benefits of LED technology. . WHAT TO KNOW- The Lightview Pro comes packaged securely in an inner styrofoam box and is very easy to put together. Just follow the included instruction diagram; no additional tools necessary! The lamp's height can be modified between 51 inches to as low as 24 inches over your table or work bench, by removing the additional pole piece between the head and the base. The clamp lets you attach it directly to your furniture for a closer angling position. It has a maximum outward reach of 29 inches. The lamp package weighs approximately 17 pounds, mostly thanks to the sturdy weighted base, though the neck used by itself is much lighter. PRODUCT SPECIFICATIONS AND OPERATION- The Lightview's On/Off switch, a simple touch sensing button, is conveniently located at the top of the head, just above the lens. You can change the brightness by tapping the power button to turn it brighter. Because of the built in dimmer, the lamp cannot be dimmed externally at this time. The lamp is plugin operated and works with 110v - 220v outlets; you would just need to use a plug adapter to use it outside of the US, as the plug is made to fit standard US AC outlets. LED BULB BUILT IN- The built-in LED bulb has 9 watts, 800 Lumens and a cool white color temperature of 6,000 Kelvin. The magnifying lens is also built-in for added stability and safety. It measures 4.5 inches long and just over 4 inches tall. The lens is about 1 inch thick, and is made from real diopter glass, for 1.75x magnification of what you're looking at. The dust cover for the lens is not removable at this time.
