The lamp is easy to assemble and made of high quality material. It’s solid and beautiful. Assembly is easy, the only minor complaint is the packaging arrived with nicks and dents, contributing to styrofoam flakes escaping, but easy to vacuum up. This is one of the nicest decorative and utilitarian items we have purchased in the many years we have been ordering from Amazon. Although it comes with a dimmable LED, we chose to use an old fashioned 100w bulb that is shorter, so doesn’t stick out on top.
