I like to camp and these lights are light weight and are perfect for tent or cooking area. In an emergency kit they can be used for lighting in a hurry where ever you can hang them up.When I took them out of the box I thought oh no this won’t work! Wrong!!! They are great! Small light weight but put the batteries in these little suckers are bright!!! Light weight so won’t weigh the back pack down, clip to hang in tent on backpack or jacket. Great deal!! Will be buying more. Oh and plastic so I don’t have to worry about them with the kids. Might crack but won’t shatter or cut them or leave shards in backpack tent etc.I finally had an opportunity to use these small camping lights while on my recent deer hunting trip. I'm still old school and use a 6 man dome tent and these small LED lights really came in handy to illuminate the interior of my tent.It really helped that they came in a two pack because I used both in my tent. I affixed a long loop of nylon parachute cord to the highest point inside my tent. I mounted one of the LED lights at the top of the cord loop and one at the bottom of the loop. This allows me to turn the lower one on and off while in a prone or sitting position such as when I'm in my sleeping bag and the other while standing. Obviously the upper light provides greater overall lighting to the entire tent's interior but if I'm wanting to do some reading just before hitting the sack the lower light is perfect for that task.The only reason I'm giving them 4 overall stars is the way the on/off push button operates. The first push turns the light on, the second push dims it slightly and the third causes it to flash. Not sure why you'd need this thing to strobe but it is annoying to say the least and doesn't serve much purpose in my opinion.Other than this small annoyance, I'm pretty satisfied with these LED lamps.This was perfect staying with friends and didn't have alot of light this worked out greatOH MY GOODIES LOL, I CAN'T EXPRESS ENOUGH HOW MUCH I LOVE THESE THINGS, THEY ARE SUPER BRIGHT EVEN ON DIM MODE AND I DIDN'T KNOW IT CAME WOTH SOS DISTRESS MODE, IT FLASHES SUPER BRIGHT AND FAST I LIKE THAT PART BUT THEN AGAIN I DON'T BECAUSE MY FAMILY HAS SEZIURES BUT WHEN I HAVE TO TURN IT OFF I GO IN ANOTHER ROOM AND HIDE IT UNDER SOMETHING SO THEY DON'T SEE THE FLASHING BUT OTHER THEN THAT THEY ARE GOOD WE USE THEM AS A NIGHT LIGHT AND CAMPING, SO MUCH FUN!!!! I WANT TO GIVE IT 5 STARS BUT THE FLASHING BECAUSE OF THEIR SEZIURE, I HAD TO GIVE IT 4 STARS SORRY!!!!!Takes up very little room in pack.When I opened the box and looked at them my first thought was to return them they felt cheap and smaller than expected. I put batteries in one and tested, and was blown away by how bright that light is. I gave them to my wife who took them to use in a storage container 6' X 5' being used for a tack storage for her horse gear. When the other ladies saw how bright the light was in her box they all asked where to get it! Don;t know how long the AAA batteries will last but they are easy to change.A beautiful pure white cat adopted me. She just walked up to me and demanded to be held. Her eyes are also white. She is now my outdoor cat since I’m very allergic to cats but love them, as all life.Anyway, I brought the lights to put outside at night for her. I have been using the lights for four nights straight. 10 hours a night and I’m amazed that the lights are still at their full brightness. Snow or rain does not affect them, so I’m buying 8 more just to hang around for blackouts.Exactly as described! Great product!Nice and bright and also sturdy.
