Bought this to light up the floor by our bed on my wife's side. Detects motion from across the room easily. Adhesive was ok to our metal bed frame but it began pulling off near the sensor pack so I had to zip tie it up.Super bright for night time, I liked it best when the batteries were going dead and it wasn't very bright. Really wish it had a dimmer ability.I love these it was easy set up and work greatThese lights are nice but don't stick for long.UPDATE: the backing is poorly manufactured. You can pull it off so the adhesive is on the proper side but it is difficult. Unfortunately the light strip has no adhesive. The backing that you peel off and throw away has the adhesive. The product works perfect other than that, but without the adhesive this product is rendered useless for me. Other reviewers have mentioned this same problem so it is a systematic issue. Amazon was kind enough to handle the return, since I was well within the return window.So I got this for my nursery closet/changing area. Just what I needed for my deep 1950's closet without a light. I needed something motion activated for those zombie nights of changing diapers but not something so bright it'd keep me and baby super awake. Just enough so I can see. The tape light its self can be removed and rearranged I had mine go around the bottom of the closet trim (tricky on corners). The sticky adhesive for the battery box/motion detector is quite strong I unfortunately discovered I put my box in the wrong spot for the motion detector to work how I wanted so I had to remove it and move it's position (which was possible with a butter knife) Overall Fantastic for my needs. I think it's gonna work just swell:)They adhere great, the motion sensor is awesome! Would love an option for them to not use up the battery during daytime when it is already bright.I’ve read many time that there is no adhesion. Carefully peel off the paper and the adhesive stays where it should. The adhesive is very sticky and the lights are awesome. Take your time peeling off the paper and you will be satisfiedI am so happy I bought 4...Talk about ambiance and easy install. Just takes 3 AA batteries, no cords or plugs and the motion detector is just right. I put the first strip under my bathroom cabinets..They look so damn great. I want to buy more and put them all over my townhouse. Talk about saving on electric bill and also having a soothing atmosphere where just the right amount of light comes out when you walk by the sensor. I highly recommend this product!Use these in the washroom under the cabinet, no need for a nightlight anymore
