This light is taller than the most and if you have tall ceilings, and have some black accents looks great in the room. The touch pad to cycle the brightness is nicer than a floor switch.The metal "branches" are interchangeable, which helps with the one downside. The branch angles from the poll are evenly spaced, 120 degrees in circle... if you were to look straight down at the poll to see the branches come out from the center. It makes placement a little tough, if you put it in a corner, you'll want the small branch to be in the corner area. If you put it against a wall, you can put the small and medium branches along the wall, the tall one coming out into the room.It's not a bad light, but does feel a bit finicky to get it the right spot with the right branches in the right order. Goes well with black, metal, modern stylings and tall rooms.
