I only have one complaint about this product. It doesn’t charge my iPad. When tablet is plugged in, it shows the charging icon but it steadily dies.I am an esthetician and this is perfect for my business!I bought to use as a piano light since piano is in corner and I have room behind the center. It is just right. The height and reach are ideal. The only complaint I have is minor. The switch has to be scrolled through all the brightness settings to go from On to Off. Would be nicer if brightness had a setting that stayed and on/off was separate.This light is a wonderful addition to my sewing studio. I can focus both lamps on one machine, or set them in v formation to light both. The adjustable brightness levels are great, and the highest setting provides plenty of light for my needs. I also find the attached tray very helpful for holding my tablet or design instructions. I am very pleased with this purchase.I am a careful older person who put this light together. Following provided instructions, the tablet holder broke where you attach it to the light when attempting to assemble. The tablet holder broke so fast!!! Ok, contacted Amazon, they said they would call the company the next day. Amazon did. But told me I would have to call the company myself. I did. Company sent an email with lots of questions to be answered besides providing a copy of purchase receipt. I provided within minutes via return attached email. So far after days, have not heard that the replacement part has been shipped (did receive an auto response email that the email will be addressed in the order received).Key here is..... Warranty is for two years, however, you only get 1 (one) replacement tablet holder!!!!!! No matter how often it may break!Sooooooo if you truly need or want the tablet holder, do keep this in mind as I like the light but feel that I should return it as it is quite expensive, especially if you need/want the tablet holder and in my limited experience is made in a defective manner with cheap fragile plastic at only the attachment part of the tablet holder (rest seems to be mostly metal).This problem has been addressed by many other reviewers and I was hoping that this well known company would have corrected this fault in this light after so much time.PSI have been using the light daily since it arrived to make sure that it worked. Light works and the USB port works to charge. As others have stated to turn off you must continuously touch the on button until the light goes out.This is a great light for doing needlework. The flex neck & split lights mean that I can fine tune the positioning to exactly where I need it most. And the chart holder is a nice bonus.I needed strong lighting in my craft/sewing room and other lighting I had bought just weren't enough. I'd seen advertisements about the Ottlite and thought this might be just the thing I was needing. I needed enough lighting to allow me to sew in the evenings and the freedom of easily moving the lighting where I needed it. I love the "bunny ears" because I move one side to my sewing table and the other to my cutting table. There's so many different positions up/down/left/right - the combos are endless and it moves super easy. I also saw the stand for the ipad and I wasn't sure if I'd use it but now that I have it, I'm so glad I got this one. I can plug in my Ipad and keep it fully charged on the stand while watching my tutorials. I can charge my Iphone too. I like this product so much I decided to take a few minutes and write a top review as this is definitely worth the money and I wouldn't have a sewing or craft room without it. 5 stars all the way!This is my second purchase of the same floor lamp. ❤️ how bright & adjustable the lights are.Very easy to set up. The lil table is perfect for my tablet.Lamp does what its supposed to with nice white lightPlease note that the actual metal stand DOES NOT adjust in height. The only adjustment is in how you flex the upper gooseneck part. I am a bit wary that the rubber covered gooseneck part that supports the lamp itself doesnt hold very firmly in place and will lose its hold after multiple readjustments. Time will tell.EDIT: barely 4 months in and the touch switch has stopped working. The USB charging port that is just below it is receiving power so it has to be something wrong with the switch. It worked one evening and wouldnt the next. The switch is not removable without breaking the housing in order to get to the components. According to the website i'd have to box it up and pay the shipping to the US as its still under warranty but as that would be stupidly expensive, its not going to happen. BEWARE!Sep 2020 - I contacted customer service at OTT months ago and they simply stopped responding after requesting proof of purchase, etc. saying the "borders are closed" (they never were to shipments) They still wont return my emails. I'm left with an expensive piece of junk.This is replacing my former Ott light which lasted over 20 years. I LOVE the TOUCH CONTROL VARIABLE LIGHT levels!!! Everything was as expected: extremely well packaged, very easy to assemble (only had to screw stand into base with provided nut, rings & wrench; phenomenal light quality. Also LOVE the split light capability for wider light coverage. Highly recommend over cheaper models!This is my second one of these lights. Decided to order a 2nd one to have as a light source in another area instead of moving the light all the time. About a week after receiving the 2nd light my original stopped working.Figuring it was the light source went about searching how to replace the bulbs. Discovered it is a LED source panel. Tried to contact the company to see if there is chance of replacement and to the date 1 week later have had no reply. I am keeping the 2nd one as I depend on this strong light source for crafting. Next purchase will be investigated thoroughly as to light source, ie: bulbs.This was purchased for my spouse's sewing room. Her previous Ott light's transformer quit and this was its replacement. Its use has reduced eye strain and brightened the overall room's ambiance.This product worked fine for 4 months and then the light ceased to function. It was past the 90 day period. Could send it for repair under warranty at my expense, which would be prohibitive, as the base alone is about 20 pounds. The bracket for the arm to hold a book or I-pad was flimsy and sagged at about a 20 degree angle, not fixable. The light itself was good when it worked. Other reviews mentioned poor reliability, but I thoughtI would take a chance. Too bad its crap. Buyer beware!
