My son used this as his reading light attached to his bunk bed for about 9 months. The light started becoming dimmer, and then one day it didn't work. That was frustrating, HOWEVER, I emailed the seller and asked about replacement bulbs, etc. They promptly sent us an entire new lamp. There was a note with the new unit asking us to report any problems to them directly, and they will remedy the situation. Hopefully this one lasts longer, but I feel comfortable that they will help if it does not.
