There is about a 1/4 inch gap that was missing for these to set flush with the front bumper. Easy to install and has worked fi e that past couple wks they have been installed. The brand Xprite fits flush. (That was the old ones I had, they lasted about 6 yrs)Would be a 5 star but instruction manual doesnt show what wires are what for the halos.Red - powerBlack - groundGreen & yellow - turn signal wiresThese are extremely bright and way better than I was expecting. ThanksGreat product for great value!You’ll enjoy them.These are great fog lamps! Plug and play install in about an hour. I'd say they are at least twice bright as the stock lamps. I haven't run them in foul weather yet, but the conspicuity (visibility to others) is bold without being blinding. I've had white fog lamps before, and they just turn the fog bank into a fog wall that you can't see through. Amber is better, and I bet these will really cut through. I'll update after the first fog. Install would have been easier with the bumper off, but it wasn't that bad. I left the bumper on and just worked "blind." The first one took me about 45 minutes alternating loud cursing and zen meditation. The second one took about ten minutes. I guess I just got the hang of putting tiny nuts on tiny screws without having to actually see them. Wiring harness is good quality, but I taped them up and zip-tied everything down to the existing harnesses.Great build quality !1 - Open hood and remove front grill plastic clips2- remove plastic pins on cover between grill and bumper3 - go under from of Jeep and remove plastic pins for front belly pan4 - pop the belly pan off & the front grill ( watch out for turn signal unplug as you slowly pop and tap grill off) & then remove plastic cover between grill and bumper“—- IF YOU DONT GO FROM THE TOP YOU CANNOT TAKE THE FOG LAMP OUT ONCE SCREWED OR PUT NEW ONE IS ! ——5- unscrew fog lamps from the back 4 screws each6 - plug in fog lamps make sure they work7- put new fog lamps in and make sure ADJUSTMENT SCREW IS FACE DOWN ! And holes are set .8 - zip tie access wiring YES Leave the extender they have on .9 - PUT EVERYTHING BACK in order 4-3-2-1I ALREADY WENT THROUGH THIS AND THIS IS THE EASIEST WAY ALSO I WAS A MASTER TECH FOR JEEP FOR 5 yearsplug and play for 06 4runner fog lighttook a bit of work trying to get them to fit in the stock housings but they look great and are insanely brightThe factory lights on my 2016 Cherokee Trailhawk are incredibly inadequate. These fog lights are a step in the right direction and are what the Jeep should have had as OEM equipment. Expect to spend about an hour installing these. Though it *can* be done without removing the front wheels, just make your life easier and take off the wheel. I spent about 45 minutes on the driver's side and didn't take off the wheel, and the passenger was much less than 30 minutes including taking off the wheel. And use a wobble-socket. The only tools needed are an 8mm socket for the fender liner and 7mm for the lights. a piece of wire or a bungee cord will hold the fender liner out of your way. Fit-up was a perfect match with the factory mount and wiring, and I get no error codes (though I don't think the fogs throw a bulb error anyway). I can finally see in the dark.Next step...new headlights!Compared to the stock fog lights, there's no comparison obviously. The construction is solid and higher quality than some I've seen, and they're not just brighter, they also have a wider view pattern, so I'm able to see a wider area of the road before.Installation was a snap...literally plug-n-play and they were easy to adjust. I'm definitely an Xprite customer going forward!UPDATE - I paired them with a set of Opar LED headlights, and together they fill the road with light without blinding oncoming traffic.UPDATE - Sept 5/2018 - Noticed some fogging and water leakage in one of the lights. All it means is the seal has finally let go and the affected light needs to be dried out and re-sealed. I've used these NON-STOP for almost 2 years driving regularly...and I would only replace these with these again. They're very much worth getting.Very nice looking they feel very heavy and well-built. Yes you can install them without removing the bumper. Take the splash guard off loosen the four swaybar bolts not hard to do you can reach up and use Phillips screwdriver 4 screws aside. Use dielectric grease in the connecters and put some in the back where the wires go in to the fog light for extra protection. If the connecter does not want to plug together such as one of mine did just take a small screwdriver and you can position the pins on the fog light connecter then connect themPress hard until they click. They look great I can’t tell you how long they will last but so far I like them I got the amber color.Exceptionally bright and really crisp color. Easy installation with clear instructions. The wiring is of good quality and it is plug and play for a jeep jk. There is a good length of wire so it should fit Jeeps with aftermarket bumpers too. It matches perfectly with my jw speaker 8700j headlights in terms of headlight design, light color, and light output. The housing are an exact match for the factory jk fog lights and fit perfect. However, after 7 months of use I have experienced water ingress as pictured. The lights still function but the lens is cloudy and there’s a bit of water pooled in the bottom.Came defective, installed it about a month or two after I received them, since I was out of the country when they arrived. But they didn’t end up working. Packaged fine, cables seem sturdy and well made but once plugged in, nothing happened. Too late for a return now though.Update* they’ve reached out and helped with a partial refund and it’s more than a lot of companies do.
